What seems apparent here is that ALL of the comments blogged today so far are coming from some of the most narrowminded, insulting, degenerative thinkers on the planet. And if even a single one of you is supposed to represent MANHOOD or the male thought process, SHAME ON YOU ALL! Did anyone consider the fact that these people were actually married, for 10 years, not 10 minutes as is typical for the so called relationships of today. Your comments denegrate this young woman & mother, who seemed to have actually loved her husband, and was willing to work through with him what had to be one of the most challenging issues any family could face. Infidelity is not a joke. Marriage is supposed to mean more than “we can stick together until you piss me off or do something wrong”. I applaude Kobe & Vanessa for maintaining their relationship this long, and I have no doubt it took a great deal of prayer, compromise and faith in each other to withstand the public scrutiny that goes with any level of fame in todays ADD society. The entire focus here has been about MONEY! Oh, and the real stupid ones got caught up in the size of Vanessa’s breasts! Typical! Yeah, and the ‘sportscaster/invester breakdown REEKED of a testosterone deprived idiot if ever there was one. So boys, put your penis’ back in your pants & turn off the porno stream. Dig deep to find some symblance of compassion and clear thinking. Marriage is supposed to be about LOVE, not money, or what position you play on the court, OR who has you by the balls!

Man! What a bunch of cynical turds! Maybe some should let their wives edit before they hit the “Post” button.

Some facts:

1) The ones who DIDN’T read the article missed that there will be NO cleaning in divorce court, as they have already settled the financials. Doesn’t sound like a lot of acrimony there. None of the snide commentors have a CLUE as to the arrangement. CA Family Code is very specific as to the rights of both parties and the children: has been that way for YEARS before the Bryants got married,

2) They BOTH were young and not so smart 12 years ago, essentially a kid of college age and a high school grad. Yeah, there are a LOT of boys and girls that age who think beyond the moment or a decade or more ahead. And the young Bryant certainly had agents and lawyers at his back at the time.

3) The older child was an infant in summer 2003. There are a LOT of wives who stay in marriages “because of the children”. Ignoring that shows the ignorance or the commentor. Kobe denied all the allegations, the case was found against the accuser. Vanessa “stood by her man”. Kobe obviously wanted the marriage to continue at the time. Sure as hell don’t sound like the Woods marriage when Elin found out!

4) One can ALWAYS enter into a “post nuptual” agreement at any time during the marriage in CA. Both sides can get lawyers and come to mutual arrangements to protect their perceived interests. (I know this firsthand) Either party could have done so, neither asked for it.

5) The article’s last sentence says it all. Too bad so many a$$ho!es can’t read and learn.
