Eduardo Najera out 6-8 weeks after knee surgery

Dec 16, 2011, 2:52 PM EDT

Because the Bobcats needed something else to go wrong…

Eduardo Najera will be out for six to eight weeks recovering from surgery to repair a cartilage tear in his knee, tweets Steve Reed with the Associated Press.

The Bobcats are already without Reggie Williams for a while due to knee surgery and Bismack Biyombo can’t get out of Spain for this season, which leaves the Bobcats shorthanded up front.

Look for Boris Diaw and Tyrus Thomas to get a lot of minutes early in the season.

The only reason I’ll watch a Bobcat game is out.

If the Bobcags don’t go and sign Dante Cunningham now, both sides should be committed to the eternal insane ward.

When your team name is the Bobcats and you have players like Eduardo Najera, Desagana Diop… Melvin Ely… many many things have already gone wrong.
