You’re forgetting that Perk was in the last year of his contract and refused to re-sign with the Celts after they offered Perk the max contract they could under last year’s CBA. He said he was going to Free Agency. The Celts had to trade him or lose him and get nothing in return. This was Perk’s making, not Danny’s. Maybe Danny should have cried.

I am getting more angry and missing out the services of Perkins.I dont know what the hell Danny Ainge was doing.He was willing to risk on David West and he wasn’t on Perkins.Danny needs to right this ship.Now or next summer.Celtics fans are demoralized.Having cap space alone is not enough.The knicks showed you that when they failed to get LeBron.There has to be a certain way to make it look right in words and deed.dammit!
