Our morning look around the NBA with stories worth reading and notes that are not their own post here at PBT.

Circle March 22 on your calendar. That is when Chris Paul and he Clippers return to New Orleans to take on the Hornets in his only game there tis year.

This could end up being huge — concerns about sexual harassment in the NBA league offices, and if warnings were ignored.

Carl Landry has agreed to a two-year deal to remain with the New Orleans Hornets.

Someone has chosen to play for the Nets over the KnicksShawne Williams. The fans in New York think this is a bigger signing than it actually is.

For you fans thinking your team should pick up Baron Davis, know that he will be out at least two months with a herniated disc in his back. And if you expect a speedy and full recovery, you have not followed the career of Baron Davis.

Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony shoot the ball a lot. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Indiana’s Paul George grew two inches this summer and is now listed at 6’10”, good size for a wing forward. How? Either a medieval torture rack or the fact he got on a healthy diet and his age allowed his body to respond.

George Hill may start in front of Darren Collison at the point in Indy. Interesting. My question is who plays better on the pick-and-pop with David West?

Right now it looks like Ty Lawson may start instead of Andre Miller at the point in Denver.

David Stern gives a pat answer when asked about stars like Chris Paul forcing their way out of a city.

Why Nick Young will end up a Wizard.

The Lakers Derrick Caracter will be out four-to-six weeks after his knee surgery Wednesday.

The Cavaliers Manny Harris will miss two weeks with a foot ulcer. I don’t know what that is but it sounds like it hurts like hell.

The Lakers worked out Troy Murphy. That’s a sign of how desperate they are for bigs on that roster for depth.

Earl Clark is a member of the Orlando Magic (and took less money to go there).

DeShawn Stevenson is drawing interest from several teams. Does he choose his next team by proximity of tattoo parlors?

Kendrick Perkins says he lost 32 pounds. So he’s got Charles Barkley beat.

Dallas signed guard Jerome Randle.

Doug Collins is asking Jodie Meeks to pick up the scoring pace in Philly.

Ty Lawson will absolutely start over that fossil Andre Miller. Any Nuggets fan could have told you that months ago.
