I agree they are very dangerous, but I think it will take some more time for this team to come together again and will hit their stride come playoff time. I still have the Spurs, Mavs, Lakers, Thunder, and yes, the Clippers, ahead of them, but they are right in the mix. I wouldn’t wanna play them.

I see the Grizzlies being the 4th seed in the West and challenging for the Conference Finals again. Good points raised about Gay being worked into the lineup, but they found a great rhythm with Gay/Allen and Randolph/Gasol before Gay went down with his injury. I think if they play Conley, Allen, Gay, Randolph, and Gasol the majority of the minutes at their positions, they will beat the older teams in the West.

This team would beat this current laker team in 5 games. They have size, defense, solid point guard play, high post and low post scorers, perimeter scoring, a healthy dose of Tony Allen , and go real deep. This is a scary matchup for anyone
