I think this a bit beyond overly judgmental.

Put yourself in their shoes, you’re hanging out with a few of your friends, you find out that you just got a piece that could easily lead to many playoff runs, and possibly a future NBA title. First thought in the head of them? THIS IS FUCCCCCCCCCCKING AWESOME.

Don’t act like you’ve never said things spur of the moment that you don’t regret moments later, because honestly, they’re probably friends with Gordon, and they probably did feel bad, and awkward afterwards.

I think the real question is why the team had Gordon on the bus to begin with when they had to know the likelihood that he’d find himself in that situation.
