So much for that…Marc Stein is reporting he was just traded to the Clippers for Gordon, Kaman, Aminu and the unprotected 1st rounder from Minnesota.

But I say we wait until he is in a Clippers uniform before believing it is real.

I feel all sorts of pity for Dell Demps, having to stand there and pretend like he still has any say in what happens.

Yea…..Demps was neutered days ago so we know he’s nothing but a puppet now. By the way I think what the league did to him was foul. We went through something somewhat similar a few seasons ago with the Skins management and coach Jim Zorn when they decided to take away his play calling ability and assign it to someone who had been calling bingo games a few days ago. No matter how bad someone is you don’t undermine them like that and for the record I think Demps was a good basketball GM……Anyways….any observer right now knows the Hornets are operating from a position of weakness. Even more so than most teams. Why? Most teams that have a superstar playing under their last year of a contract are already trading from a position of weakness but on top of that the league also must trade Paul this season because if they don’t and he walks at the end of the season without the Hornets receiving any compensation it severely devalues the value of the franchise and they will not be able to sale the team for the price they think they should.

May god have mercy on the New Orleans Hornets…. This is insane, I understand the Dwight trade being put in the backburner, but now that the Hornets lost David West they have virtually no chance of competing this year, and for some reason I’m going to put his chances of resigning at 0 percent. They might as well deal Chris Paul as soon as possible to get the new roster clicking together sooner than later. The league is way too greedy to want Eric Gordon and the draft pick… That draft pick could be Harrison Barnes or Austin Rivers or another one of the insanely good college players coming into the league next year.
