A guy who averaged 7 pts and 7 boards a game shouldn’t be getting 10Mill a year…Very true, but this is also a 23 year old player that has a ton of growth if he puts his mind and heart into it. The chance you take if you’re an organization like the Warriors who hasn’t had a decent center for more than 3 decades. What’s more important, they need to get the right coaching for this young man as an investment.

I thought this was one of the reasons for the lockout. Bad contracts. I think 4 years 24 million would’ve been sufficient. Not to take money out of the players pocket but the NBA will never be competitive when players who avg 7 and 7 are getting 40 million. But anyway congrats DeAndre. I ain’t mad at ya
