The Warriors would immediately be a playoff team with Chandler. Whoever said Biedrins is a defensive center has it backwards. He was an offensive center who lost all his confidence. He’s got some athleticism and can block shots, but the Warriors haven’t had a defensive presence down low like Chandler in recent memory.

The trade would look good but that team wouldn’t be good come playoff time. Monta Ellis and Paul are great players but undersized and can be taken advantage of on defense. How would they matchup with a team like oklahoma city?

I would be willing to wager that the Knicks would not touch Chandler at that number. The Warriors are most likely bidding against air for him in the hopes that it lands them Paul long term. I think people forget how often Chandler was hurt and how poorly he played in Charlotte. He had 1 good year with the Mavs (in a contract year.. we know how that goes) and now he is going to make superstar money. If the Warriors struggle it will be interesting to see what Chandler shows up game to game.

If the Knicks do offer him the big $$$ and this does effectively take them out of the Paul sweepstakes, is this a sign that the Lakers do indeed have the deal in place for CP3? Does this also mean that Nash’s days in Phoenix are over as well?

Tyson makes teams good defensively hes a good investment, I dont know about 14 per but he damm sure is a 6 million dollar man

Overpaid is an understatement. You are signing a guy with limited offensive ability and suspect health to 4 years at 60 mill? The only explaination for this has to be that they have been scammed into thinking that if they do this Chris Paul will stay with them. I mean dont they already have an overpaid defensive center with no offensive skill in Biedrins? Now they trade for Chris Paul and watch him walk to the Knicks in a year. This will sink their franchise.
