Even if he got one of those guys, I can't see them beating the Heat, the Bulls, and maybe even the Knicks (provided they get Chandler) in a 7-game series. I totally understand his allegiance to Orlando. I get that he wants to stay, but Miami has such an advantage for the next 5 years (at least). This won't be the year they win that elusive championship. If he's willing to stay for 2-3 more years, it's possible. Now...if he's willing to go to the Bulls (or Lakers), he'll have plenty of rings.

trade for Josh Smith and claim Billups if he gets cut for Chandler. If Howard can't take that team to the finals he shouldn't be considered a star and doesn't deserve all the attention.

As a Laker fan this isn't disheartening at all, D12 great defensive center and outside of dunks his offense is inconsistent. If Howard were to be traded and stayed with the Lakers after Kobe retires, would he really be that much more of a presence than Bynum has he potential of becoming? From the moment the Lakers/Hornets series ended, CP3 was número UNO on my wish list. Let's face it Fisher hasn't been a starting caliber PG for the last 3 years... Great leader, clutch but i think it's time he fills B-Shaw's role on the coaching staff
