F**K OFF CHANDLER

“Dallas Mavericks free agent Tyson Chandler will meet face-to-face this week with officials from the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets and New Jersey Nets, according to sources close to the situation.”

So it really is all about the money now. None of those teams have a chance of getting to the playoffs, much less the Finals. Maybe getting the 8th seed, but that would be pushing their luck already. The Nets won’t suddenly be title contenders with adding you Chandler.

This is just like when Verajao wanted north of 10 mil from the cavaliers. Chandler asking for that much is laughable. Especially considering that without other great players around him all he can do is alley-oop dunk and play solid D.

"Houston is sort of similar, but maybe not as good."

Huh, what about the Rockets isn't as good as the Warriors? Martin by nearly any metric is a better player than Monta, Lowry's 2 way skills trump Curry's one-sided game, and Scola is not only more consistent than Lee but is more healthy. The Warriors are one of the least deep teams in the league, they consistently rely on scrap heap pickups who are mediocre at best. Add in the fact that the Rockets are younger and are coming off a season in which they won 7 games more, that's a tough argument to make.
