I hope the Lakers stay pat with Bynum. Howard may be a great center but to pick up the garbage that is Hedo makes the deal not worth it. What the Lakers need is a young small point guard to replace Fisher who is just too old and slow to remain a starter. Fisher would be a great second point guard but we need speed at Kobe’s wing. A short season bodes well for the older Lakers who won’t be as gassed going into the playoffs like they were last season. Plus we want revenge against the Mavs who don’t deserve to repeat.

Why would Orlando want Bynum and Odom? Bynum hasn’t proved he can stay healthy and Odom …..well at least he’s Mr Kardashian. Draft picks are a better option or even better, spend money and get CP3 to sign in Orlando.
