Off topic, but this makes me so much more pissed at Twolves for passing on Stephen Curry multiple times in 09 draft for Ricky Rubio and …..whats his name…um…hes like 5ft6…from..Syracuse..oh yeah Johnny Flynn. Even if Rubio pans out, having Curry would of done so much to soludify outside shooting. Also would of given us reason to then not draft Wesley johnson the next year taking Cousins instead. Alot of ifs here but having KevinLove, D-williams, D-cousins, r-rubio and s-curry as your starting 5 would be a hell of a good young team with a fu*king plethora of good trade pieces for our idiot of a genius GM- David Kahn to mold a Tundranic Dynasty. “oh what could of been, and it seems so damn simple” how did kahn screw that up?

Curry is very popular in nocal. Fans would get crazy and rebel if Stephen was traded away even for CP3. If there was ever a future in Golden State it is with Stephen Curry.

The difference between scenarios B and C is minimal, at best.

The Knicks have no picks to trade and their only assets right now are Billups’ expiring deal and a pupu platter of rookies and guys like Toney Davis and Landry Fields.

I’d rather the Hornets sat CP3 for the year and made Paul go to the Knicks as a free agent than trade him there, letting him keep his Bird rights, without getting anything of value in return.

People really need to just get realistic and realize… It does not matter who wants to give what for CP3. He has his mind made up that he wants to be a Knick. The Hornets can either
A) Trade him to a team (like the Jazz did with Deron Williams) who is willing to give up a big package in the hopes they can entice Paul to resign with them.
B) Make the Knicks work as hard as they can to come up with the best possible package they can offer and accept it.
C) Let the season play out and lose CP3 without any compensation leaving the franchise in shambles.

I’ll bet if they worked a three-way deal where Paul ended up on the Lakers, CP3 would all of a sudden NOT be “not a West Coast guy”.
