I found our center we need to sign Ryan Hollins, he 7″0feet, athletic young(27) and would be great in mike system. get him for cheap and move amare to pf plus we styll can get cp3

Randolph that has to be the worst argument for a team to trade a player I have ever heard. If you really think that trading Paul to the Knicks and sucking for a year to get a lottery pick is the best plan then you are truly delusional. First off there is no guarantee that the Hornets will even get the #1 pick because of the lottery. Secondly how in anyway would dealing Paul to the Knicks help the Hornets? Cap space and a lottery pick? Come on let’s be serious! The Knicks have absolutely NO pieces to put together a deal for Paul since they traded everything for Melo last year. There is NO way the Hornets are going to give up arguably the best PG in the game for nothing.

I am going to assume for your behalf, and that of all educated English speakers everywhere, that you are an immigrant and English is not your first language….*wink…*ahem!!!

That being said, your premise is laughable and factually inaccurate. Not only do the Knicks not have anything in the form of tradeable assets that NO would want (Billups is a joke), but even the ones they do will not equal Paul’s salary to make the $$ work. The NBA cap is a fickle beast. When a team is over the cap (NYK) they cannot sign people beyond certain ways (i.e. Mid Level Exception, Bi Annual Exception, etc.) and when they acquire players from teams under the cap (NO) the $ has to match up along with the amount of players being exchanged in order to fit under the max # of players per roster (15).

Neither of those things can be accomplished by NYK and that is why this trade will not happen. CP3 is not going to NY unless a magical 3rd team steps in, and that won’t happen because there is nothing for them to gain.

I’m sorry but you really think the best thing for New Orleans is to trade Chris Paul for essentially nothing to the Knicks so the Hornets can suck so bad that they get a lottery pick? Do you honestly think any General Manager thinks that way?

I understand you are a Knicks fan, but this is insane/incredibly insane.

New York Knick get chris paul if NO wanna get the best offer its from the knicks because if i were the hornets i would lets cp3 go to knicks ,suck for the year ,be a lottery team with cap space then draft well that the only way hornets can rebuild cuz no star player will play their. they need to rebiuld through the draft and hope they get a superstar
