You are absolutely correct. Stern should just cancel the season and start fresh next year. Besides, McDonalds just can’t handle losing so many employees at once.

I have to disagree with you on this.

They should play all 82 games. Since they only really play the 4th quarter anyway it actually amounts to a 20 game season.

Plus we would get to see Bron-Bron choke or quit a few more times. Who wouldn’t want to see that?

Starting on Christmas is going to result in some incredibly ugly basketball. There are teams like the Lakers that still haven’t even met their coaches. Some guys aren’t even in this country because they’re playing overseas and will need to get out of those obligations. The rookies haven’t even seen an NBA practice yet. And you know there are some guys who’ve let themselves get fat and out of shape over the lockout. A month isn’t going to come anywhere close to fixing all those things.

Why does everybody keep saying these 66 games will be more condensed than the 50 game season? That season started February 5th, a good six weeks after this season’s debut. They can’t fit 16 games into 6 weeks? Please.

Yeah. Sixty-six games in between December 25 and April 18th? That’s almost a game every two days. Crazy. Just make it 50. Eighty-two is too many anyhow.
