I’m the same age as Kobe, loved the Shaq-and-Kobe era, and grew up during the Jordan era, but nobody embodies the spirit and joy Magic brought to the game. I’d argue that there isn’t an athlete, in any sport, that made team sports as joyous to watch and love as Magic did.
