Shaq is such a has been. Going from team to team towards the end of his career to see if he could get another ring. I’m glad he didn’t. He’s just saying all this crap to try to sell his book. Which I bet not a lot of people are going to read.

imagine if he had actually given an effort on the defensive end. He was already a fairly dominant shot blocker, if he’d tried on defense he could have conceivably been the greatest defensive player ever with his size, athleticism and basketball IQ.

Shaw? You meant Shaq, right? You’re crazy dawg! Shaq was absolutly the main reason the Lakers 3-peated. Now the Heat ‘chip you can say that was more DWade but not with the Lakers, as fantastic as Kobe was.

Keep ‘em coming, Diesel. This book looks like a fantastic read. It seems like all shit talking and it’s funny as hell, even if Shaq does spin stuff like a DJ. I need a good laugh after this whole lockout thing has deflated me and crushed my spirits.

i dunno what games you were watching…

but Shaq in his prime with the Lakers and first 2 years with the Heat commanded double teams, attention from defenses, getting the other team in foul trouble early, fouling out the other teams front line, and opening things up for Kobe and Wade…

when the other teams front line is fouled out in the 4th quarter it opens up lanes for kobe and wade to drive and get to the foul line, also when teams doubled down on shaq that meant they couldnt double on Wade or Kobe thus leaving a one on one match up with whoever was checking Kobe/Wade… and we all know the 2 of them would be successful in a 1 v 1 perimeter match-up with any guard…

thinking shaq has a big mouth and is arrogant off the court is one thing,

but it is an ENTIRELY different issue when talking about “more Kobe/Wade then Shaq”, its opposite if anything or 50/50….

he didnt need a hook shot because his drop step was devastating, it was such a powerful dominant move that they had to make up a rule against him “dis-lodging” was the term NBA officials used…

Free thows? – hey Shaq had everything else, free throw shooting never came, but he did make them when they counted, that is true….see Mavs – Heat 4th quarters in NBA finals 2006, and also when Kings/Blazers did the hack-a-Shaq….

he couldnt win with Penny, well they eliminated the Bulls and Jordan in his 45 comeback year… and lost to a savvy experienced Houston team, cant blame them for that…Rockets were defending champs and Hakeem was in his prime, Shaq just stating out…

anyone remember when Shaq brought down the entire basket, not rim, the entire base and basket? legendary… shaq just said F it, “oh im not getting calls” , ok then “game over for everyone” im taking down the basket !!!

Anyone else tired of Shaw smacking people? Kareem took the high road but he did talk about how Shaq thought he was too good to work on his own game. He never improved his free throws and wasn’t interested in developing a hook shot. I think Shaq is an all time great who could have reached much higher heights had he worked harder and not been so full of himself. He couldn’t win it with Penny, and it was more Kobe and Wade than Shaq when he did win it. He needs to realize that for all the critism of everyone else he so casually throws out there, he’s far from perfect. And not as good as he thinks he was at basketball.

So in other words, Lebron doesn’t want the last shot because he doesn’t want to miss. Kobe and Wade will take that shot and will make it more times than not.
