I have no idea where these owners stand. I am not a NBA insider. I sure would like to know. Write a piece and tell the rest of us that dont know.

Yeah, I agree with Moore here: it doesn’t look good.

OTOH, it may just be posturing. Hard to read.

I would suggest that a large part of this is now on Stern, and I would think he is very motivated to broker a deal. He has gotten some big givebacks for the owners, who do, after all, employ him, but he also answers to the media, and indirectly, to the fans.

So, I think it is time for him to show us these great political skills he supposedly has, find a middle ground, get the moderates united, and get a deal done.
