All LeBron James did in Cleveland was run his mouth about what he WAS GOING to do. “I will not rest till I bring a championship to Cleveland”. He’s a P.O.S. The ring is tainted. They colluded to get it.
You can take the kid out of Akron, but you can’t take Akron out of the kid. He should take a belt sander to that 330 tattoo.
He’s not loyal to anyone. We will burn the Q down before he ever plays for the Cavs again.

You want to know what the most likely answer is? The NFL is in the middle of their season. The NBA hasn’t started yet. If you were to look at this site in the middle of the summer last year, articles mentioning LeBron James consistently had 100′s of comments.

Besides, since when did we start measuring league relevance by the number of comments on an internet blog?

(Oh, and no one is debating that the NFL is far and away the most popular league in America. Not sure what the goal here is.)

I agree with most of what you say in terms of the NBA and its popularity. However Jon Gruden is a star coach, and a star announcer. He won a SB, he has more wins then loses. Do I think hes an overrated coach? yes I do, but to say hes not a star coach is wrong. Same thing on the announcer gig. He just signed another contract to keep doing that. I’m not his biggest fan but he has plenty of them and your selling him short.

Shaq sits around all year playing the “I am hurt” game again and then expects to make a token appearance in the playoffs so someone else can get him a ring to keep up with Kobe.

A great player once but he finished as a mumbling, slurring, out of shape clown and he needs to shut up.

Everybodies pointing the finger at LeBron, which alot of it is his fault for being the diva, but shouldn’t more of the blame be placed on management? I mean a player will only do what you let him do. Danny should’ve had some damn dignity and told no matter how good he was that he was a player apart of a team that will be treated just as everyone else is. Its ironic, he’s guilty of the same thing he accuses LeBron of doing, “ring chasing”. He was so obsessed with winning a ring he let an 18 year-old kid run his franchise on AND off the court.

Not to mention…..leadership. Kobe is one of those guys who you know will chew out his teammates if they F up or aren’t doing things the right way. Doesn’t appear to me that LeBron is that type….he just wants to have fun and laugh and dance with his teammates.

Not really surprising for anyone who enjoyed reading Adrian W’s Yahoo columns on how the entire organization walked on eggshells with LeBron. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mike Brown got orders from up top to treat LeBron like a true king.

And hey, maybe that’s not an issue if LeBron is winning you championships. But he wasn’t. And he hasn’t.

That’s no surprise. That’s what spoiled brat babys do. They don’t listen to anyone and do what they want. Spoelstra is being treated the same. If he wasn’t, when LeJerk ran into him with his shoulder (on purpose) Spoelstra would’ve benched him right then and ther. Period.

LeBum has no heart, all the talent in the world, probably more than Jordan ever had, but no winning will. Jordan was ALL heart!

right now on the pro football talk, there is a post about a former player slamming jon gruden. gruden who is not a star player, not a star coach, maybe a star announcer on a good day. it has 33 comments. here ion PBT is a post about one of the top five biggest NBA stars of all time slamming the current number 1 or 2 player in your entire league… and i am the 7th comment. hey you, guy down the bench on the atlanta hawks, if the nba was as relevant as you think it is, this post should have 150 comments. take the deal. save your sport from entering true and ultimate oblivion.

Did you even read the article? Shaq wasn’t calling out Lebron for not hustling. He was calling him out for not LISTENING to his coach.

Any Cleveland fan knew about this. Lebron did his own thing. Mike Brown coached everyone but Lebron. It was reported numerous times how much LBJ didn’t listen to anyone but his own gang of merry men he brought to sit next to the bench.

Finally, I think it is laughable that you believe that “Spo and Riley always talk about how coachable he is.” What are they supposed to say? The truth? Hahaha, fat chance. You know how much drama that would cause?

Is it really a stretch to say that Lebron was coddled and spoiled in Cleveland? Half the time Lebron looked disinterested in timeouts when Brown was talking. I don’t think any of what Shaq said is an attack on Lebron, but the culture that was built up around him.

Shaq confronting Riley probably isn’t out of step with a lot of players’ confrontations with him. Riley was a hard-nosed, no-nonsense coach who probably berated a lot of guys.

I haven’t read the book, but Shaq pointing out these things doesn’t mean he thinks he’s infallible.

Ran Stan Van Gundy out of Miami…Ran Brian Hill out of Orlando.

I dont respect athletes who have nothing to say at the time…but want to throw everybody under the bus.

You dont think Shaq got special treatment and he listened to every coach he had.
This is the same Shaq that claim ‘he throw Zo down to the ground like a rag doll’.

Sorry…but not interested in Shaq ‘ I was constantly 30 lbs over my playing weight’ O’Neal.

but i’m leaning heavily in buying this book to read, this stuff is great,

raw, uncut , behind the scenes , REALITY of what was going on and can help give you an idea of what is going on NOW…

Shaq has no reason to lie, he’s outlandish, foolish sometimes, but every story of his have always turned out to be TRUTH

stories about lakers, biggie smalls, new jersey growing up, heat years, movies, women, kobe, lebron, etc…
