True.
NBA history is full of players with great physical talent but Jordan had an assassin’s mentality and because of that he was able to use that talent like a sword.
Kobe has it.
Oscar Robertson had it.
Larry Bird had it and that is why he overcame his average physical talent.

I thought that LeBron was going to go that direction when he went off in a playoff game a few years ago but he looks like he is content with just making money now.
It was exciting to see Derrick Rose starting to get that edge last year and it is just as disappointing that we won’t see him take it to the next level this year.

It’s kind of amusing when players say they are quoted out of context when they legitimately aren’t. When you say, “I feel like I’m better than Michael Jordan,” that’s a pretty definitive statement. When you say, “I aspire to be as good as Jordan every day,” we understand how to put that in context.

I won’t knock a kid for setting his sights high, but if he hasn’t taken 1000 a day during the lockout then he isn’t preparing himself to achieve such heights. Talent only got MJ so far, his unlimited drive and desire is what propelled him to his level of greatness This is what LeBron seems to be missing or we would have seen a credible post game from him by now.

“CAN” Jordan Crawford become better than Michael Jordan? It’s within the realm of theoretical possibility. It’s probably not happening, but it’s “possible”. But before writing this off, lets look at the guy. He plays for the Wiz and the last time we saw him, he shot 2 for 14 in a losing effort against Cleveland. The same Cleveland that had the worst record in the conference and lost 26 in a row last year.

Now lets revisit the question: Can a player who’s not even the best player on the 23 and 59 Wiz become better than Michael Jordan? The answer is – this lockout has driven Jordan Crawford completely insane. Somebody settle the CBA issues so the Wiz’ medical staff can give this young man whatever drugs are required too put him and “reality” in the same room.
