Greg Oden can now run

Oct 27, 2011, 6:54 PM EDT

From Oden’s Facebook page (via Blazer’s Edge):

In LA right now working out. I ran the other day for the first time in awhile. Felt good!

The 2007 #1 pick’s NBA career has been decimated by a series of brutal knee injuries, and he underwent the 2nd microfracture surgery of his career 11 months ago. One certainly hopes that Oden can somehow get all the way healthy and fulfill he promise he showed as a high school phenom, a one-handed college player, and during the relatively short amount of time he’s spent playing NBA basketball, so it’s good to see Oden making some progress.

Greg oden career is the weirdest in history, you cant call him a bust & cant call him a star, what is he besides always being hurt?

@edmazeing1 doesn’t the fact hes always hurt make him a bust?

One handed and now has no legs. I remember at draft time some “scouts” saying a leg was longer than the other and that it would cause major issues in the future. I feel bad for the guy, but someone needs to check his birth certificate. It is less legit than Obama’s.

Stay off your feet, Greg! Invest in a motorized wheelchair and take it easy! Your wasting precious footsteps, you only got about 47,051 of them before you get hurt again bro.
P.S.- And don’t step on the sidewalk cracks, you might fall and break your_____.

Great! Now, if someone will teach him how to play basketball, he should be all set.
