Karma in action . Remind me . Wasn’t it just a few months ago that Dr. J was sued or arrested for bilking some old lady out of her life savings or something to that nature ?

This is beyond sad……He always came across as astute and intelligent, a well spoken man who is an NBA legend. As a Sixer fan, i will never forget what he did on the court, but i will always be suprised it has come to this…….Basically, he’s broke…..What a damn shame. This Dr.J afterall……….

While that would be great PR for the superstar, Julius should have taken better care of his money. Players today are not responsible for the financial decision of past players, however great those players may have been.

I’m with goforthanddie. except it shouldn’t be a superstar doing the buying. it should be AI9 or elton brand. then mayb philly would start to show them some appreciation.
