I'm not sure I can say I side with the owners, but 99.999999% of Americans have a rich boss that they can't do anything about. That's the way it is. And when you have a group of guys that think they should make 11 million a year instead of 10 million, that's where you start to lose the PR battle. Where you finish losing it is, when you take it to the public and say things like stand united or the owners aren't letting us play. You sure could go play if you really wanted to, but you'd rather continue squabbling over a relatively small amount of money It insults the general public's intelligence when you say the owners aren't letting you play basketball.

Im an nba fan but the fact that games are being lost really isnt bothering me at all at this point. Im sure im in the majority in that feeling and that has to benefit owners. The players have no leg to stand on imo, its not like theyre underpaid with non-guaranteed contracts. Im fairly apathetic about the whole thing.

You can blame whoever for lost games, but I gotta side with the owners here. As with any other job in America, if you don't like the terms and conditions of your job or you don't feel appreciated by your boss...go work somewhere else. It's that simple. Or, start your own business.

Not a single player cares about another player when it comes to getting the most money for their contracts. Only for comparison purposes really. A player or agent isn't thinking "Oh, let me get the most money for this contract so that others can get the most too!"

That being said, I very much would love an agreement between both parties. And as fans, most of us don't really care how they do it, we just want it done. It's easy not to care how much players make or how much they will lose. But in the grand scheme of things, it's not a right for the players to be playing in the NBA.
