He stopped rebounding, stopped defending and stopped using his quickness to get shots. Mental Block? Who knows. But as Warrior fans, we can’t wait to see if he will snap out of it. Nene would be the exact player we need inside to make this happen. Defense 1st mentality and the muscles to help David Lee inside. Lee is a hustler, hard nose player that every team mate and fans love, but he can’t do it alone in Golden State. Since we use two smaller starting guards in the league, we need the beef inside.
Our 3rd guard rotation must be someone with a defensive presence. This player would be ideal at crunch time to help put a defensive stop on opposing scorers when the game is on the line. (Most likely for Curry since he lacks the quickness and strenght to be a defensive stopper.)
