Hmmm, that sounds like Perk to me. When the C’s traded Perk they were in 1st in the east and then spiraled down after that. When Jermaine O’Neal was in the game, the C’s outscored the Heat by a wide margin. What kind of player is JO? Defense and rebounding just like Perk. I don’t see how anyone can say that having Perk would not have greatly improved their chances and they were better off with a scorer like Green. Kurt must think the answer was to outscore the Heat, rather than defend them. That trade will go down as the worst in the history of the C’s. It would already be that, if there wasn’t such a love affair with Ainge and the fans and the media.

I’m not sure they win the series with a healthy Rondo, but it would have gone at least six or seven games. That was the big killer. If Rondo stays healthy it’s a different series.
