Stern plays used car salesman and gives them a soft cap so restrictive it&#039;ll be worse than a hard cap could ever be.  Neither side is apparently interested in getting anything less the a lopsided deal in their favor done anytime soon.

The middle ground is staring us all in the face, but everyone involved is refusing to acknowledge it.  52/48 Split of BRI in favor of the Players.  Hard cap set at 60% of BRI (about 80 million this year) with an 8% wage holdback in escrow like in the current system.  Throw in some amnesty, raise the minimum age, and lose the exceptions.
