Charlotte Bobcats v Milwaukee Bucks

It’s not really a surprise — he said a couple weeks ago this could well happen — but we wanted you to know it has become official — Boris Diaw will play in France during the lockout.

Sportando tweeted the news:

As per @Catch_and_Shoot Boris Diaw can be considered a new player of JSA Bordeaux

Bordeaux is where Diaw grew up and he was able to secure a roster spot speaking with the team president, one Boris Diaw.

Diaw had to give himself and opt-out clause to return to the NBA whenever the lockout ends. He started all 82 games for the Bobcats last season, and while he is a solid player the fact he started all 82 games in Charlotte tells you all you need to know about the Bobcats roster
