I could get this done in one day too. If I am the owners, I tell the P.A. that they need to come to the table and resolve this in one day or we cancel the season. On the other side, if I am the players, I tell the P.A. that you get the owners to the table and resolve this in one day or we de-certify and quit paying dues and take our talents elsewhere....Oh wait...the TV contract is with the NBA so the money train will stop with the exception of the star talents. Lets try again...We the players are going to start our own league...Nope that doesn't work either...then the players WILL be the owners. I guess we as fans should just start looking for former NBA players working at a shoe store near us.

He could get a deal done in a day, but it would be horseshit for ownership.
The people working on it now could get it done in a day, if both sides would just admit nobody's getting exactly what they want. Which is what'll end up happening after half the season is lost.
