Like they’d have a chance of getting another elite player in OKC. Free Agents aren’t going to be clamoring for a shot at living in Oklahoma City. It’d be near impossible for them to get equal value for him in a trade.

Reminds me a lot of the Phoenix situation with Joe Johnson. Smaller market really not willing nor able to carry two Max contracts plus a couple of other big deals with Perkins and Ibaka. I expect them to fall back down to earth once they have to pay fair value for their franchise cornerstones.
