Davis has definitely been a pleasant surprise thus far. Most of us just expected him to come in, be a cancer and make the team no better, possibly even worse. He has been the opposite. He made the Cavs more competitive right off the bat, and seems to be a good team leader.

He may have motives, such as trying to increase his value so a contender would be willing to take a chance on him again, but whether or not that is the case he is doing everything the right way, and seems to legitimately want to help the Cavs franchise move forward. Have to give the man some credit.

I can’t believe I’m commenting on the NBA right now, but what the heck……Baron has been nothing but a leader and catalyst (albeit injured at times) since he arrived last year. Maybe he had issues during his prior stops, but he’s been great in Cleveland. Give the guy a break.
