I love how if the owners say they are willing to sacrifice a season you write long winded articles blasting them but when players say the same thing you just causually mention it.

I call bluff. Guys like Allen & Lewis are on the last contracts that will pay them big money. Neither has a chance of recouping these lost wages, no matter how much sweeter a deal gets for the players. They can say whatever they want in an attempt to show unity & strength amongst the players, but they’re not stupid. They’ll vote yes for the first semi-decent deal owners offer up.

Who wouldn’t be willing to sacrifice 1 year if it meant a good deal for many more years?

Honestly, I don’t care if the season is cancelled. If it leads to a situation where a financially viable deal is in place to secure the long term health of the league. Things cannot continue the way they have been. The NBA cannot continue to support the current salary structure in place.
