Obviously that last amnesty clause offered little but a few dollars saved and it was a 1 time thing. This time around, who knows what kind of antics will ensue with some actual cap space recovered.

Curious for the Lakers if they can waive a declining Kobe a year from now with CP3 and DHow becoming free agents. Doubt the small market hard liners will go for something like this if it didn’t incorporate some kind of franchise tag.
