The only Shaq vs I ever saw was the one with Albert Pujols. They got into a home run derby where Shaq only had to make it to a little league fence. He made it to THAT fence a few times but NEVER even came close to a real home run. Sounds like crap to me.

They were not using the bases or home plate for the softball game so it was not as far to the left field wall.

Rondo was a star QB and a baseball player before he took up basketball full-time. The other Celtic players said Rondo was incredible and made some unbelievable plays in the field. Rondo was at a Patriots practice this summer showing off his QB skills and the patriots backup QB, Brian Hoyer was very impressed.

BTW, former Toronto Blue Jay Danny Ainge also played.

Also, remember this is slow pitch soft ball. Its not like we’ll be seeing anyong in the NBA going yard in Fenway or any other park hitting off a legit hard ball throwing pitcher.

I know we are a bit jaded because we think NBA guards are small, but a 6’1″, 180lb baseball player is not a small hitter.
