Yes we will tell the whole nation F U when we win it. And we will, make no doubt about it. Maybe the biggest F U ever. I would love for Wade, James and Bosh to just run around the arena (hopefully away) and just hold their middle fingers up in the air (Brian Cox style).

I just wish these guys would stop being so nice and polite to the media. What they should do is embrace all this hate and become monsters, give wrestling-style interviews. That’s what I would love. For them to be over the top and just piss on the media. What’s there to lose? Fans, players (as admitted by a few scrubs) and the media hate them. Actually the media loves them ($$$).

So for all you losers relentlessly bashing the Heat, have at it. Keep in mind we can bash too, we aren’t going to sit around while you morons take shots at our team. This team in its first year together was 2 games away from erecting the middle finger trophy.

The Heat and their fans are being actively attacked every day on blogs by people like you, though. That isn’t in the past – it’s a current event, therefore Heat fans are understandably annoyed by it.

Like I said in a previous post – The Heat players displayed a lot of ego in the preseason last year and deserved their share of criticism. But the AMOUNT of criticism and the INTENSITY of it has been over the top. Being annoyed by that is perfectly justified.

Anyhow, I don’t really give a crap if you think we’re the laughing stock of the NBA. You can say whatever you want – It doesn’t change the fact that my team was the second best team in the NBA last year Being better than 29 out of 30 teams in the league means that you had a truly awesome season.

Myself and the other Heat fans I know had a ton of fun last season, and we’ll continue to have fun in future seasons regardless of what people like you say.

And when and if we do win the championship, yes, we will all give you the middle finger. You will deserve it, too.

Heat nation brings it on themselves. Their fans emulate their players: they whine about the world being against them, refusing to recognize that they only have their insufferable attitudes to blame for everybody rolling their eyes every time a fan/player speaks.

You are the laughingstock of the NBA.

Your entitled attitude of assuming you’ll get several championships ignores the fact that youre going to struggle to even reach the finals again. The east is beastly.

Wade could have said something along the lines of: “There was so much hype and we helped create that to a large degree which made us lightning rods for all sorts of negative attention. We probably should have spent a bit more time just playing ball and less time talking about partying on South Beach. I’m going to make a point out of letting my game tell the story next season and I’m going to encourage LeBron to do the same.”

I guarantee you if he’d said something like that these comments would be a lot friendlier. It’s not the questions they are asked…it’s how they choose to respond to them.

It gets really tiring, and while I’m a fan of basketball, I’m also principled enough so that people like that turn me off completely. To the point where I won’t watch any game they’re involved in, even if they’re going up against my team. I wouldn’t want the ratings board, or the League to misconstrue my watching that channel at that moment, for me liking them. Because I don’t.

They’ve got allot of growing up to do, imo. Hopefully, they can keep the mic out of their faces and put more into playing what they’re paid to do.

For professional athletes to whine about anything is beyond my comprehension. Seriously? You get paid insane amounts of money, more than 90% of those in the USA will ever earn in their lifetimes, to play a game. Cry me am effin river. Most guys would give both nutz to play ball in any professional sport, and thats just to play. Too bad the honor of the game is gone. Now it’s simply all about me, myself, and I.

From the words of the a great Bud Light commercial, “There is no I in Team…There ain’t no we either”.

What exactly are you expecting form Heat nation? For them to say NOTHING in retaliation while you bash on them relentlessly all year?

LeBron, Bosh, and Wade are all good citizens, good ambassadors for the game, and good teammates. Yet they were demonized. We’ve seen players in this league who have committed serious crimes like domestic violence and drug charges get criticized far less.

Like I said, I’m not excusing the pre-season celebration. It *was* over the top. But an entire year worth of intense criticism is just silly. What they did wasn’t *that* bad.
