Really? Everytime I’ve been to a Warrior game the place is freakin’ packed. I mean I think you’re wrong at least as far as fear goes.

Half the Bay Area is scared to go into Oakland, they need to get out of there. However, San Jose would be a far better choice than San Francisco. San Jose is bigger, it’s easier to get in and out of, and parking there isn’t like pulling teeth. Rechristen the team the “Bay Area Warriors,” dump the worst jerseys in all of professional sports, and get out of Oakland, all those things would help. I do feel that the new ownership team does care about winning, and it all starts at the top.

They’re moving this team to San Francisco at the first available moment; not one important announcement they have had so far has been held in Oakland. Anyway, they seem to be doing all the right cosmetic things but they need to get a playoff team in place.

New owners always say they want to iprove the fan experience, which in reality is an excuse to spend money on meaningless things that fans don’t want, so they can raise the cost of tickets and concessions by saying we did this for the fans.
Fans want affordable ticket prices, affordable concessions($8.00 beers is a joke), fun promotions, and of course a team who has a shot at winning/going to the playoffs year after year.

How about changing the name from “Golden State” to the “Oakland” Warriors for a start, then quiet the chatter of this move to San Francisco by commiting publicly and financially to the City of Oakland….you know, the city that has been home to our team for over 25 years now?
