Just for the record, Rodman only has 28 siblings

Inductee Dennis Rodman acknowledges the crowd after delivering his acceptance speech during the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2011 Enshrinement Ceremony in Springfield Reuters

During Dennis Rodman’s emotional Hall of Fame acceptance speech he smacked around his father, who skipped out on Rodman when he was just age 5, saying he had 46 brothers and sisters and they basically all deserved better.

That’s totally not true. Rodman’s father tried to defend himself Chris Palmer of ESPN, who tweeted:

Philander Rodman, Dennis’ father, sets the record straight. Says he has 29 kids. Not 47.

Oh, in that case he’s in the running for Father of the Year.

And yes, his name really is Philander. We couldn’t have made that up.

If you have that many children and skip out on them… well, karma is a b—-. I fear what the universe has in store for him.

You guys are trying to tell us that his dad’s name is Philander? C’mon, now you’re just making stuff up. ROTFL

Sounds like Philander and Shawn Kemp would get along really well

Yep. His name is Philander. I went to Wikipedia to verify, lol.

That’s a situation where Philander should just let it pass. My opinion doesn’t change of Philander if the number is above 2 dozen, that he acknowledges or knows about. There might be a margin of error that could tick that number up quite a bit.
