He oversaw the 99 lockout, bargaining on behalf of the owners, and delivered a collective bargaining agreement that was supposed to make the owners money. However, under that deal teams have suffered massive losses. If I were an owner I would at the very least ask him why he bargained for and recommended a deal that (supposedly) cost 20 teams to lose hundreds of millions of dollars over the life of the deal. I say supposedly because if the teams did lose as much money as they claim then the NBA would be the only organization/company to lose this much money and not get rid of the man at top.
