Yes, let’s take the side of an art student, working at Barnes & Noble, driving a 2010 Audi, who files a lawsuit four days after the accident over the side of an upstanding public figure.

Human decency? Did you not read this part of the story: “Mourning got out, went over to check on the men, who told him they were OK and that they had already called police.”

Again, there’s nothing indicated he was required to remain at the scene. The cops asked him to come back, and he did.

You’re reading WAY too much into this story.

Here’s what happened… He got out of the car.. Asked if they were ok. When he started driving off the fat guy was like… Damn man, he was so tall and had such big hands.. He has to be ex NBA… I’m suing him now cause… Um. I want money cause of this recession.. Erm I mean cause of pain and suffering

Whatever. He rolled up on a wreck, one car totalled, and caused more damage. He doesn’t have the human decency to stick around? And, acc. to the article…”Mourning continued driving home, then called police, the FHP report said. He was told to return to the scene and he did.” Apparently he WAS required to remain. He didn’t even have the brainpower to call the cops BEFORE leaving the scene.

Umm, in most states, if you don’t cause substantial damage or personal injury, you’re not required to remain at the scene.

He is not suing because ZO left the scene, he suing for some of ZO CA$H!!!
