Video: Blake Griffin and Kevin Love have a Jenga war

Jul 11, 2011, 7:15 PM EDT

Blake Griffin Kevin Love

Via The Basketball Jones, here’s an ESPN-produced video of two of the NBA’s best young power forwards having a Jenga war. In a battle of athleticism vs. skill, Love took the first game, but Griffin came right back to even the score at 1-1. When asked how playing Jenga helps them stay focused during the lockout, Love noted that both players play down on the blocks, and Jenga is a block-based game, while Griffin noted “the court is made of wood, and so are the Jenga pieces.”

For the Jenga rubber match between Love and Griffin, you’ll have to tune into the ESPY awards.

These millionaire overgrown kids sure are building a lot of support around the country for their “cause”.

Especially with people that can’t find work to feed their families and are so far in debt that they’ll never get out of it this lifetime.

But the overgrown kids under 35 that think this is funny haven’t figured out that they’ll have no future in America for the next 25 years.

The waste of an education and spending your life supporting and making excuses for millionaire kids that could pass a legitimate 9th grade certification test, could care less about you and laugh at you behind closed doors sooner or later will catch up to you.

Wow. Of all the young people in this crazy mixed-up world to try and take a shot at … Kevin Love and Blake Griffin just happen to be the complete opposite of what you seem to be offended by when it comes to the many OTHER rich and spoiled and semi-delusional, uneducated “sports brats” in the NBA environment. Cynicism has its place in the world, no doubt … but some criticisms – like this sort – are just way off base.

Are you serious? Two of the most humble NBA players out there, playing Jenga in their downtime and so be it, it gets filmed and you decide to BITCH about it? You make me SICK.

Proud to say I get to watch K-Love play every night in basketball, but I would be more proud to say I get to see him play competitive Jenga every day.

@tashkalucy I just created an account just to tell you that is one of the most ridiculous posts I’ve ever read in my life. I encourage everybody to log on to every browser on their laptops and thumbs down.
