I am a fan because I want to see the greatest bball players in the world compete against each other, not because I care one iota about the owners.

Don’t get me wrong the owners have the right to do what they gotta do for their biz.

But I would love to see how some of these guys fare in Euro and other foreign leagues. Would be much better than not watching basketball at all.

In the long run it would help the league too. It could only attract more interest in the NBA if fans in other countries got to see some of these guys play up close and personal. And if an NBA star led their team to a title, they would probably become a fan of that player even after he leaves their team to return to the NBA.
