If he would’ve resigned in Cleveland they would’ve simply called it a press conference. Of course the announcement would’ve been Live on ESPN but it would’ve been hosted by the Cavs’ organization, not a full-on ESPN production. But you’re probably right; it wouldn’t have been all that different if he stayed: LeBron prolly would’ve figured out a way to draw all the attention to himself…. I almost want to quit my job & leave the South Florida area just so I don’t have to talk sports with guys like this clown. I literally haven’t heard one Heat fan say one negative about LeBron since the Decision, even after he screwed your team in the Finals. You people are sheep.

Most people from Miami live in their own fantasy world & that has nothing to with the Heat. The Miami mentality goes like this: I’m better than you no matter what.

Jim Gray is the “LeBron” of sports journalism. For some reason he thinks people are tuning in to watch him instead of the interviewee.

If everything took place exactly the same way, but Lebron said he was staying in Cleveland, the media and everyone would be gushing about how much of a stand up guy he is and how he understands pro sports. But he takes less money to go play for a team that was two wins from the title, he is an awful villian. The disdain for Lebron is awful. I hope the league doesn’t screw this up and miss games, because Lebron and the Heat are going to run thru the league to capture their first title next season.

Kurt, come on. Part of your job is typing. You are the typo king.

In your “quotes” above, you have numerous typos and missing words.

It’s one thing when you mangle your own writings, but here, you attribute these errors to the people that are quoted.

Case in point:

“I wasn’t going to be the only going to be paid,” Gray said.

and:

“You could tell this wasn’t something was easy for him,” Gray said.

and, not to be outdone by your closing line:

“As if they explained the charity part better it would have changed the perception.”

Is. That. English?

Step it up, man!

When you meet people, do you tell them you write for nbcsports.com? You should tell them you mangle words for nbcsports.com, that would be more on-point.

Very probably the most over-the-top action ever taken by anything to do with sports – pro or amateur.

And one of the underlining reasons for the lockout.

The NBA is totally out of control. Garbage like this and other actions belongs to “leagues” like the WWF.
