The Nets most glaring deficiency is at the OG position – not the SF spot – where they have more than one suitable back-up calibre player on their roster [e.g. Vujacic and Morrow] but nary one capable starting-calibre player. Although you and certain others might not think much of Travis Outlaw, as a starting SF, when he gets a chance to play solid minutes beside the likes of:

PG, Deron Williams
OG, ? [free agent, or trade, acquisition]
SF, Travis Outlaw
PF, Kris Humphries
C, Brook Lopez

he should be able to hold his own quite easily, if NJ can also add a solid OG.
