This is all kinds of dumb. Lebron James made $100 million in endorsements in his first 2 years in the NBA and $8 million in NBA salary (look it up). Marketable superstars will always be "overpaid". If they are willing to take less money to get out of a situation in their career, that's their perogative. I know plenty of people who would take less money to live in a nice city and work with their friends.

Boo Freakin' Hoo.
LeBron and Bosh walked on MAX $ to stack the deck when word was sent by Mr James "not 2, not three, not 4 ect" championships".
The truth is he and Bosh walked away from the ONLY leverage the owners had to keep a player with his team which is more $$$$$... and they BOTH walked on it.
THAT tells me the players are overpaid.
Teams had to do a sign and trade to try to get something.
THOSE DAYS ARE GONE.
Why would LeBron James and Chris Bosh walk on more money ?
Because they are over paid.... or is it the $ they make outside of basketball that let's them make those choices?
IT DOESN'T MATTER !!!!!!!
The game makes the player, the player doesn't make the game.
David Stern is about to take a bullwhip to the players (|).

By the way, I totally support the players in the NFL lockout.
