Look at the Bucks 76ers ECF in 2001 and tell me that series was called down the middle. The NBA wanted the Philly TV market, not Milwaukee’s.

MIlwaukee’s 1 million citizens don’t draw the TV ratings of LA, New York, Miami, Chicago, etc. Therefore, they will never get a shot even if they can put a good enough team on the court.
