The franchise has run into trouble in the last couple of years at the same time as the owner died. It does not make any sense to fire Joe D once the Ownership problem is figured out.

So you take Darko when you had Ben, Sheed at the starters?
Melo could play SF and Prince backup SF/PF.
They do that and they will 2 more rings.
Face it. Joe D hasn’t made any good moves as GM once Larry Brown left.
Larry Brown didn’t want Darko either.

He built a contender out of a basement dweller in the 00 which included a Championship and if Rasheed doesnt leave Big Shot Bob Horry wide open in game six another. As far as Darko he was the consensus number 2 pick every GM in the leage would of made that pick but Joe D cut bait much quicker then most GM’s would. Iverson for Billups was a bad trade but the Pistons weren’t wining a championship that year anyways and he was hoping to catch lightning in a bottle.
