Not that Jimmer is a bad player or will fail in the league (I actually think he’ll be able to carve out a nice bench role for 10+ years), but he’s not one of the top 5 talents in this draft. To make matters worse, he’s probably in the worst situation of any rookie. How is he going to do anything playing next to Tyreke Evans, Marcus Thornton, and John Salmons? Not to mention they still have to get post touches for DeMarcus Cousins.
