The Spurs generally make very good decisions, resigning Jefferson with the looming changes to the collective bargaining agreement definitely wasn’t one of them.

In what way does it make them better? How about because they would be acquiring Nicolas Batum?! Yes, they would get older at point with Miller but Hill would pick up more minutes at the point with Miller being a steady veteran presence at the point.

If I was the Blazers GM this would work for me so as long as they left out Jefferson. There’s no way he’s “movin’ on up”!

The Spurs only did it to themselves re-signing Jefferson to that horendous contract last offseason! Especially when he gave them a “get outta jail free” card by not picking up his player option. They knew what he was about after that misarable ’09-’10 campaign and now they wanna bother someone else with their troubles? Live with it, fellas…plus, in what way does that make the Spurs better??
Getting older at PG while moving up 8 spots in the latter part of THIS years 1st rd.?

Keep Jefferson out of it, it’s a good deal both ways. Otherwise, there’s no way it’s worth Portland’s time.
