A 16 year old kid going against FULL GROWN MEN and coming out with some decent numbers is pretty impressive. I’d equate that issue (atleast the mental aspect of it) with a kid playing in the NFL at 19 and putting up pretty decent numbers. We have yet to see that. I’m sure now that he is in a more challenging league, his numbers may go up. He seems like a fast learner and a big student of the game.

WOW!! Intimidated?! You obviously have no clue.. The guy has been a pro for years, and have played against some tougher oppenents then some of the weak, washed up, “don’t give a da*n” ones we have in the NBA!! I think that he should do well with Minnesota, teamed with Love and Beasly.. As for your comment… I wish I had four hands, to give your comment four thumbs down!!..

Watching him arrive shows how overblown the media was about him coming to Minnesota.

My favorite is when they would say he doesn’t want the cold weather but wants to go to NY. Pretty much the same temp in both places.

Funny video. T-Wolves mascot high-fives him as he gets on the transport. T-Wolves cheerleaders were there and never got near him. Sure looked like more than 200 people though, even though the video opens with a guy saying it looks like 1-to-1 media to fans. Class act that he signs autographs without running to get away at the same time. Good for him, nice welcome to his new city. Good luck T-Wolves fans. If his jump shot develops, you’ve got a perennial All-Star to build around with Kevin Love, because there’s certainly no questioning his ball handling, passing and basketball IQ. This kid will be fun to watch…

Intimidated? I dont think he was intimidated. He’s been a pro in the second best league in the world since 16. Not to mention he’s held his own in that league AND in the olympics against OUR stars. Ask Chris Paul how hard it is being guarded by him, you have no clue what you are talking about…

This guy was already intimidated the first time around, he’s got the same crap roster he had the last time he backed out, make no mistake about it, every guy he goes against is going to clown him for backing out like he already did. Imagine KG giving this kid the staredown. I give him half a season before he requests a move back to Europe.

Rubio mania begins here in Minnesota, still very questionable if he can play or not, but at least a little excitement generated for this moribund franchise
