Draft the big kid out of USC that has really long arms and can play center. He’ll help do some dirty work under the hoop and help keep Amare stay healthy for a potent 1,2 punch with our main man Melo.

They only had 1/3 of a season to play together and try to get Melo acclimated. Give the Knicks a full season and some roster upgrades and they are a dangerous team. Fredette would fit in well here too.

The Knicks need another player whose focus is offense and can’t defend. D’Antoni has proven this works time and time again.

An undersized player on a team that already has two big offensive scorers. I don’t recall Jimmer being noted for his amazing defense, and i can’t imagine he’ll be successful on a team waiting to see the ball after Melo and Amare get theirs.

Jimmer to Knicks sounds like just the type of pick a bad Knicks organization will make.

Have the Knicks drafted anybody good since Patrick Ewing?

not only will jimmer fit in with the D’Antoni system he has a pretty nice fan base in NY that is his hometown…hopefully we get em go jimmer

I don’t know about this. I like Fields, with the Melo trade his performance came down. I think this new season will be better given more time to mold with the new team. Fields had chemistry with Chandler, Felton, Gallinari and then he was put into a new line-up with Melo and Billups. And then Melo takes the ball out of Fields’ hands even more than he was used to. I like Jimmer as well, I just don’t know to be honest.
