Don Nelson tried to stick it to the Knicks who had the next pick and coveted Curry. Nelson set the Franchise back 5 years, but in his defense, he may have drafted best player available.

That’s 12 PG/SG, 4 SF, 5 PF/C. What “size” did you want to take instead of Curry? You wanted Taj Gibson at 7th overall? Mullens?

Being a Warrior fan I was disappointed when they drafted Stephan Curry. I felt this situation would arise. I don’t remember who was available at the time, and Stephen Curry is a very good talent, but he is too similar to Monta Ellis. The Warriors needed size then and need size now. I hope they can work out an equitable trade for Monta Ellis. I also don’t believe Stephan Curry is untouchable. If there is a scenario where they can trade him instead and still be competent at point guard, they should consider it.
